Sports Chiropractic in Hampton
Whether you’re a top-level athlete, a weekend warrior, or somewhere in between, athletic activities can place significant strain on the body, often causing joints to become misaligned. When your joints aren’t properly aligned and functioning, the risk of injury increases.
Most of our chiropractors have a background in collegiate athletics, and their personal experiences with sports chiropractic care inspired them to pursue careers in chiropractic medicine.
Injury Prevention, Performance and Recovery
At Lemmata Chiropractic, our team is committed to optimizing your body’s performance by ensuring your joints are properly aligned, allowing for better movement and reducing the risk of injury. We also focus on muscle balance, which plays a crucial role in preventing injuries and helping you perform at your highest potential. Studies show that athletes who receive consistent chiropractic care improve their performance by an average of 18%.
Additionally, chiropractic care is essential for injury recovery. When you sustain a joint injury, your body instinctively tightens up to protect the affected area, which can cause it to heal improperly. We work to guide the healing process, ensuring that the joint recovers in the right position, leading to a faster and more complete recovery, so you can return to full function sooner.
